If interested, apply below for immediate consideration or contact Arkadiy Kuvaev directly to learn more at 617-824-2651.Job DescriptionThe Assistant Project Manager - Civil Construction - Columbia Construction will:Effectively draft memos, reports and documents.Support the project manager and the project team.Gain exposure to Welkin's functional areas: estimating, field operations, cost control and quality management.Work closely with other project engineers.Write letters to subcontractors and vendors.Communicate project requirements to subcontractors and vendors.Understand and update the CPM schedule by interacting with the Welkin project team and scheduler.Assist in the preparation and negotiation of change orders.Review drawings for changes and clarifications.Meet with members of the Owner's team to administer day-to-day activities such a planning access and preparing work plans and safe work plans.Assist in MWDBE plan development, plan execution and continual compliance.Perform any other duties assigned by management.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
