Job Description

  • Assist in managing commercial interior construction projects
  • Support schedules, budgets, contracts, and project documentation
  • Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
  • Assist with tenant fit‑outs, office renovations, and interior build‑outs
  • Support project closeout, punch lists, and turnover documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements
  • Communicate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and clients

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer experience preferred
  • Background in commercial interiors or tenant improvement projects
  • Exposure to office build‑outs, renovations, or interior construction
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Proficient with schedules, RFIs, submittals, and construction workflows
  • Motivated to grow into a full Project Manager role
  • Local or commuting distance to Hartford, CT
