About Our Client

Our client is a Kansas City based commercial General Contractor that does $30M in annual revenue. They touch on all market sectors but primarily do projects in the commercial and retail spaces. Projects range from $500K to $10M. They're looking to grow over the next 5 years and want to bring in people they can train and quickly promote.

Job Description

  • Assist in coordinating and managing construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Support project planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Help ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout all phases of the project.
  • Contribute to resolving project-related issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records for future reference.
  • Assist in evaluating project performance and identifying areas for improvement.

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • Construction related degree preferred
  • Project experience can range from $500K - $10M
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (Procore)
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and meeting deadlines
