Job Description

As an Assistant Project Manager - Construction - Queens, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting Project Managers throughout all phases of project delivery
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and project cost tracking
  • Managing RFIs, submittals, and change order logs
  • Coordinating architects, interior designers, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Assisting with procurement and contract administration
  • Maintaining project schedules and milestone updates
  • Tracking project documentation and reporting requirements
  • Supporting field teams and Superintendents with project coordination
  • Assisting with custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, metal, and specialty finish packages
  • Participating in client and project team meetings
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and construction documents
  • Supporting project closeout and turnover activities

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in Project Engineering, Project Coordination, or Assistant Project Management
  • Experience with high-end residential construction projects
  • Exposure to penthouses, brownstones, duplexes, townhomes, luxury apartments, or custom residences
  • Understanding of custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, and specialty finishes
  • Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project controls
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or related software
  • Desire to advance into a Project Manager role
