Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager - Structural Construction will report to the Project Manager and support the planning, coordination, and execution of structural scopes of work throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Support project schedules, budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting activities.
  • Assist with subcontractor management, procurement, contract administration, and buyout processes.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate communication between project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Support material tracking, logistics planning, and project execution activities.
  • Assist with project closeout including punch lists, as-built documentation, and warranty closeout packages.
  • Identify and communicate potential schedule, cost, or coordination challenges before they impact project performance.

The Successful Applicant

For the Assistant Project Manager - Structural Construction we are seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or structural construction experience.
  • Experience supporting concrete, foundations, precast, roofing, or related structural scopes is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation, project coordination, and subcontractor management.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction management software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced project environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Data center or mission-critical project experience is a plus.
