Job Description

As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll work closely with the Project Manager and site teams to coordinate day-to-day operations on a $200-300M government project spanning 12-14 buildings and over 1 million square feet. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a leadership position while contributing to a high-impact, sustainability-focused initiative.

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Support the Project Manager in overseeing daily site operations
  • Assist with scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination
  • Help ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
  • Participate in project meetings and maintain accurate documentation
  • Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to track progress
  • Assist in managing client communications and expectations
  • Contribute to problem-solving and issue resolution on-site
  • Support procurement, logistics, and materials tracking

The Successful Applicant

  • 2-5 years of experience in construction or project coordination
  • Exposure to federal, large-scale, or retrofit projects is a plus
  • Familiarity with MEP systems and energy efficiency concepts
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment
  • OSHA 30 or willingness to obtain certification
