Job Description

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist Project Managers with daily project oversight from pre-construction through closeout
  • Support preparation and tracking of RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Help manage project documentation, logs, and reporting
  • Assist with material take-offs and procurement coordination
  • Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Track project schedules, budgets, and cost updates
  • Participate in site visits, progress meetings, and coordination calls
  • Support quality control and ensure adherence to project specifications
  • Help facilitate punch list completion and project closeout

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • 1-4 years of experience in construction project management or support role
  • Exposure to interior construction or high-end residential projects preferred
  • Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, change orders, or take-offs (any combination)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to read construction drawings is a plus
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment
