Our client is a respected General Contractor in Yorktown Heights specializing in large-scale ground-up construction projects throughout the Tri-State area. Their portfolio includes healthcare, education, residential, and commercial projects valued at $25M+.

Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist in managing ground-up construction projects from start to finish
  • Support subcontractor coordination and project scheduling
  • Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Help track project budgets, costs, and procurement
  • Coordinate with Superintendents, Architects, Engineers, and Owners
  • Attend project meetings and maintain meeting minutes
  • Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met
  • Support closeout documentation and turnover processes

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • 2-5 years of construction management experience with a GC
  • Ground-up construction experience preferred
  • Exposure to healthcare, education, residential, or commercial projects
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar software preferred
  • Construction Management or Engineering degree preferred
