Job Description

As Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for

  • Assist the Project Manager with all phases of luxury residential interior projects
  • Support project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and cost tracking
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, designers, vendors, and consultants
  • Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Assist with subcontractor buyout and procurement activities
  • Track materials, deliveries, lead times, and project milestones
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports
  • Attend project meetings and help facilitate communication between project stakeholders
  • Assist in identifying and resolving project issues throughout construction
  • Support closeout activities and ensure project deliverables are completed

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • 2+ years of construction experience with a General Contractor
  • High-end residential, luxury interiors, hospitality, or commercial interiors experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and project documentation
  • Experience working with architects, designers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred
