The Assistant Project Manager will support multiple healthcare projects ranging from $2M renovation work to $50M+ ground-up facilities. This position offers direct mentorship under experienced healthcare Project Managers and exposure to highly technical MEP systems.

Our client is a premier Midwest healthcare builder with a longstanding reputation for delivering hospitals, outpatient facilities, operating room renovations, imaging centers, and specialty medical spaces throughout Chicagoland. Their portfolio includes partnerships with major healthcare systems and private medical groups across Illinois.

Job Description

  • Manage RFIs, ASIs, and submittal processes
  • Coordinate owner, architect, and subcontractor communications
  • Track project budgets and forecast costs
  • Assist with subcontractor buyout packages
  • Prepare meeting minutes and project reports
  • Support project closeout and turnover

The Successful Applicant

  • 3-6 years of commercial construction experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
  • Experience with Procore and Bluebeam
