This role is strategically structured for rapid professional development, offering a clear, fast-tracked path to transition into a lead Superintendent position within the next two years.Job DescriptionCollaborative Scheduling: Partner closely with the Lead Superintendent and Project Manager to support the creation, maintenance, and real-time management of the overall project schedule.Master Schedule Comprehension: Assist in developing and tracking the Master Project Schedule, demonstrating a foundational understanding of construction activities, sequencing logic, and critical milestones.Short-Interval Look-Aheads: Conduct daily unit inspections to accurately prepare, maintain, and distribute 3-week rolling schedules to ownership, subcontractors, and vendors.On-Site Field ManagementTrade Coordination: Oversee and coordinate daily on-site subcontractor activities to ensure adherence to the project timeline and safety standards.Quality Assurance & Control: Serve as a frontline QA/QC representative; actively monitor field workmanship and ensure the prompt correction of any deficient work.On-Site Liaison: Act as a dependable mediator to resolve minor subcontractor, supplier, and field staff issues efficiently.Inspection Management: Lead jobsite walks alongside third-party consultants (e.g., geotechnical, structural, fireproofing) and successfully manage walk-throughs with local municipal inspectors to ensure compliance.Material Logistics: Oversee field construction processes in tandem with project leadership, including the review and approval of site material requests and deliveries.Reporting & Safety: Maintain real-time communication with the Project Manager regarding site progress, material delays, or field deficiencies; administer first aid as necessary.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
