Job Description

The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist the Superintendent in overseeing daily site operations
  • Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and schedules
  • Ensure work is performed safely, on time, and to high-quality standards
  • Help maintain project documentation, reports, and logs
  • Conduct site walkthroughs and assist with inspections
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, vendors, and clients

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Superintendent should have:

  • 2-5 years of experience in construction (residential preferred)
  • Has a carpentry background
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Proficiency with basic construction software/tools is a plus
  • OSHA certification preferred
