Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Own the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and qualification through negotiation, closing, onboarding, and account activation.
  • Build and execute a strategic business development plan to drive growth across North America.
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of prospective clients including fintechs, banks, payment service providers (PSPs), payroll providers, marketplaces, and digital commerce platforms.
  • Identify and secure new logo opportunities while opening new markets and revenue streams.
  • Lead complex sales engagements and commercial negotiations with founders, executive leadership teams, product leaders, and key stakeholders.
  • Develop deep relationships with strategic partners to drive long-term revenue growth and account expansion.
  • Collaborate closely with product, implementation, compliance, and operations teams to ensure successful client onboarding and go-live execution.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, cross-border payments, fintech innovation, and competitive dynamics.
  • Consistently exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and key performance metrics.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:

  • 5-8+ years of B2B payments sales experience, with a strong preference for candidates from cross-border payments, payment infrastructure, fintech, or related sectors.
  • Proven hunter mentality with a demonstrated track record of generating new business and winning strategic accounts.
  • Experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles and closing high-value commercial agreements.
  • Established network across fintechs, banks, PSPs, digital wallets, e-commerce platforms, or related financial services organizations
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage and influence C-suite decision-makers.
  • Highly entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and comfortable building a territory from the ground up.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a history of exceeding sales quotas and business development objectives.
