Job Description

Seeking an experienced data center construction leader with a strong track record of developing and maintaining relationships with hyperscalers, colocation providers, developers, and end users to drive project opportunities. Combines deep mission critical construction expertise with business development, pursuit management, and client engagement experience to identify opportunities, secure new work, and support revenue growth across the data center market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and expand relationships with data center owners, developers, hyperscalers, and strategic accounts to identify and capture new project opportunities.
  • Lead business development and pursuit efforts for mission critical construction projects, including RFP, RFQ, and proposal strategy.
  • Drive market growth by identifying emerging opportunities within the data center and digital infrastructure sectors.
  • Collaborate with operations, preconstruction, and executive leadership teams to develop winning project solutions and value propositions.
  • Manage a pipeline of prospective projects, track market activity, and execute account strategies to achieve revenue objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted client-facing representative throughout the sales cycle, from initial relationship development through project award and ongoing account management.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience within the construction, mission critical, data center, engineering, or infrastructure industries.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, client development, account management, market leadership, or related revenue-generating roles.
  • Demonstrated success developing and growing relationships with data center owners, hyperscalers, developers, EPC firms, general contractors, or strategic end users.
  • Proven ability to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, leading pursuits from initial engagement through project award.
  • Strong understanding of the data center ecosystem, including hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and digital infrastructure markets.
  • Experience managing major client accounts and maintaining executive-level relationships across complex sales cycles.
  • History of collaborating with operations, engineering, preconstruction, and project delivery teams to develop winning solutions and proposals.
