As they continue to grow, they are seeking talented professionals who can help expand their market presence and strengthen strategic relationships across the construction industry.Job DescriptionBusiness Development & SalesIdentify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the retail construction market.Develop and execute strategic business development plans to support company growth objectives.Build relationships with retail brands, developers, landlords, architects, project managers, and industry influencers.Generate and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities across new and existing clients.Lead client outreach efforts, presentations, networking initiatives, and industry events.Client Relationship ManagementEstablish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the client lifecycle, ensuring exceptional customer experience.Identify opportunities to expand services and increase market share within existing accounts.Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.Industry Networking & Market PresenceRepresent the company at industry associations, trade shows, networking events, and community functions.Develop relationships with architects, designers, developers, tenant representatives, and commercial real estate professionals.Stay informed on market trends, upcoming retail developments, and competitive activities.Subcontractor & Partner DevelopmentBuild and strengthen relationships with key subcontractors, vendors, and industry partners.Expand the company's subcontractor network to support growth initiatives and project execution.Identify strategic partnerships that create new business opportunities and enhance service capabilities.Proposal & Preconstruction SupportWork closely with estimating and leadership teams to develop winning proposals and presentations.Participate in client interviews, project pursuits, and contract negotiations.Support go/no-go decisions and evaluate opportunities for strategic alignment and profitability.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
