Job Description

As Capital Projects Manager, you will report into a Senior Manager within a global Workplace function and act as the regional technical authority for capital delivery.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the end‑to‑end delivery of corporate office capital projects, including new builds and major refurbishments, across the Americas region
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality
  • Acting as the senior subject matter expert, advising stakeholders on construction strategy, delivery routes, and risk management
  • Managing external consultants, contractors, and vendors to drive value, compliance, and performance
  • Providing financial oversight including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking across a complex project portfolio
  • Upholding robust governance, assurance, and health, safety, environment, and security standards
  • Driving continuous improvement across tools, standards, and delivery methodologies

The Successful Applicant

For the Capital Projects Manager, we are seeking:

  • Proven experience delivering complex capital projects in a client‑side or owner's representative capacity
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction, building regulations, and industry best practice
  • Experience managing multi‑country or regional portfolios, ideally across the Americas
  • Demonstrated expertise in contractor, consultant, and vendor management
  • Solid financial and commercial acumen, including budget ownership and forecasting
  • A relevant degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or Project Management
  • Professional certification such as Project Management Professional or equivalent; chartered status desirable
  • A collaborative, confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders in a matrix organisation
