CEG Solutions - Assistant Safety Manager

• Support the onsite Safety Manager in maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Assist with implementation and upkeep of the Site-Specific Safety and Health Plan (SSHP), including tracking updates and revisions as directed.
• Conduct routine site walks and safety observations; document findings and help maintain safety logs and reports.
• Participate in daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions; assist with preparation and delivery as needed.
• Help identify potential safety hazards and escalate concerns to the Safety Manager with recommended corrective actions.
• Support the reporting and documentation of incidents, near-misses, and injuries, ensuring timely and accurate records.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and field personnel to reinforce safe work practices across the site.
• Assist in maintaining safety documentation, including Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), safety meeting records, and certifications.
• Support compliance with EM 385-1-1 and other applicable safety standards, particularly on federal or DoD projects.
