Their work not only helps clients reduce operating costs and modernize aging systems, but also contributes directly to environmental sustainability and energy resilience.Job DescriptionSupport the onsite Safety Manager in maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations.Assist with implementation and upkeep of the Site-Specific Safety and Health Plan (SSHP), including tracking updates and revisions as directed.Conduct routine site walks and safety observations; document findings and help maintain safety logs and reports.Participate in daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions; assist with preparation and delivery as needed.Help identify potential safety hazards and escalate concerns to the Safety Manager with recommended corrective actions.Support the reporting and documentation of incidents, near-misses, and injuries, ensuring timely and accurate records.Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and field personnel to reinforce safe work practices across the site.Assist in maintaining safety documentation, including Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), safety meeting records, and certifications.Support compliance with EM 385-1-1 and other applicable safety standards, particularly on federal or DoD projects.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
