Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Traveling Project Manager are:

  • Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasting reports.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and client stakeholders.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to ownership and leadership teams.
  • Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure field execution aligns with project goals.
  • Monitor project costs and proactively identify opportunities to improve performance.
  • Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with project specifications.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Traveling Project Manager will have the following:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor.
  • Experience delivering Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Advanced Manufacturing, Industrial, Mission Critical, or other highly technical construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
  • Design-Build project experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, or similar project management platforms.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.

  • Base Salary: Up to $160,000
  • Annual Bonus: 20% target bonus (with strong upside potential)
  • Vehicle Allowance: $850/Month
