Job Description

  • Manages planning, design, and construction of civil infrastructure projects related to public utilities such as water, wastewater, stormwater, gas, and electric systems
  • Coordinates with municipalities, utility authorities, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project alignment and approvals
  • Oversees project budgets, schedules, and resources to deliver work on time and within scope
  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements
  • Leads multidisciplinary teams and consultants through all project phases from concept through construction closeout
  • Reviews engineering designs, construction documents, and shop drawings for quality and constructability
  • Monitors construction progress, resolves field issues, and manages change orders and risk
  • Communicates project status and technical information clearly to stakeholders and the public

  • Solid technical background in civil engineering principles, construction methods, and utility systems
  • Proactive problem-solver who can address design issues, field conflicts, and change management efficiently
