The firm specializes in ground‑up and interior retail construction, with a core focus on financial institution projects. Known for its consistent backlog and repeat clients, the company offers a stable, fast‑paced environment where Project Managers have real ownership over their work.

Job Description

  • Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Develop and manage project schedules and budgets.
  • Perform or assist with estimating and bid preparation.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Lead client communication and maintain strong relationships.
  • Track project costs, changes, and financial performance.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Oversee multiple smaller projects simultaneously as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Commercial Construction Project Manager should have:

  • 5-8 years of Project Management experience in commercial construction.
  • Proven experience managing smaller to mid‑sized projects ($3M-$10M).
  • Experience with bank/retail projects strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage scheduling and estimating responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated job stability (3+ years tenure in prior roles preferred).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Local to the Charlotte, NC market.
