Job Description

As Commercial Senior Project Manager - Manhattan, NY, you will:

    • Act as the primary liaison between ownership, design teams, consultants, and contractors.
    • Manage projects throughout the full lifecycle, from feasibility and planning through construction and closeout.
    • Oversee project budgets, schedules, risk management, and reporting.
    • Lead consultant and contractor procurement processes.
    • Review contracts, change orders, payment applications, and project deliverables.
    • Monitor construction progress and ensure alignment with owner goals.
    • Facilitate project meetings and provide executive-level updates to stakeholders.
    • Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining schedule and budget objectives.
    • Ensure quality standards and compliance requirements are achieved throughout the project lifecycle.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Commercial Senior Project Manager - Manhattan, NY candidate will have:

    • 10+ years of construction project management experience.
    • Previous experience with an Owner's Representative, developer, construction management firm, or General Contractor.
    • Proven ability to manage complex commercial construction projects in NYC.
    • Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, contracts, and stakeholder management.
    • Experience overseeing architects, engineers, consultants, and construction teams.
    • Exceptional communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
    • Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or LEED are a plus.
