We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead fast-paced commercial interior construction projects ranging from $1M-$2M in value. This individual will take full ownership of projects from start to finish while working directly with operations leadership on a prominent client site in Washington, DC.

Job Description

  • Manage commercial interior construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client communication
  • Coordinate with field teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
  • Drive project planning, procurement, scheduling, and execution activities
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders
  • Work closely with the Director of Operations and project support staff to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates on project performance and milestones
  • Resolve project challenges proactively while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction
  • Based full-time at a major client site in Washington, DC with a schedule of 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM

The Successful Applicant

  • 6+ years of Project Management experience within commercial construction
  • Proven experience independently managing projects from start to finish
  • Background managing commercial interior construction projects preferred
  • Experience overseeing projects in the $1M-$2M range highly desired
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor management
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
