Job Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing all aspects of assigned projects
  • Lead preconstruction and construction phases for multiple large, complex concrete projects
  • Oversee project financials including budgets, cost forecasting, change management, and buyout
  • Develop procurement strategies and assist in preparing project delivery documents
  • Coordinate closely with design teams to align schedules for estimating, bidding, and construction
  • Establish subcontract agreements, scopes of work, and performance expectations
  • Allocate and manage project resources throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage contractual risk, insurance requirements, and compliance obligations
  • Lead and motivate project teams, setting clear expectations and milestones
  • Ensure safety is embedded in all project planning and execution activities
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Coordinate with governing authorities for inspections, approvals, and regulatory compliance
  • Promote proactive communication and collaboration across all project stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in construction project management
  • Strong background managing concrete scopes and/or self-perform work
  • Experience working with or alongside large general contractors preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Ability to obtain site badging and potential security clearances
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
