Due to continued growth and an active project pipeline, they are seeking a Project Manager to join their Hartford-area team and play a key role in delivering successful commercial construction projects.Job DescriptionManage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through project completion.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasting reports.Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal project teams.Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to clients and company leadership.Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and submittals to ensure project compliance.Monitor project costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.Manage procurement activities and long-lead material tracking.Oversee change order management and negotiate cost impacts with subcontractors and clients.Ensure jobsite safety standards and quality control procedures are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.Resolve project challenges proactively and implement solutions to keep projects on track.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners.Support project closeout activities, including punch list completion, final documentation, and turnover.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
