Job Description

  • Manage full lifecycle of municipal construction projects
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
  • Coordinate with superintendents to align field and project execution
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
  • Oversee subcontractor selection, contracts, and performance
  • Monitor project financials and track costs against budget
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
  • Lead project meetings and provide status updates
  • Identify risks and implement solutions to maintain project momentum
  • Oversee project closeout, including documentation and final reporting

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Project Manager - Municipal Projects should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management
  • Experience with municipal or public sector construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and cost control
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Familiarity with project management and scheduling software
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
