Job Description

We are seeking experienced professionals to support utilities on large-scale transmission line programs in a consulting capacity. This is a high-impact, front-end role focused on helping clients evaluate, prioritize, and plan projects, with a strong emphasis on risk assessment, constructability, and overall project strategy rather than day-to-day field execution.Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with utility clients to assess and prioritize transmission projects based on risk, feasibility, and overall program goals
  • Perform deep-dive risk analysis across projects, including right-of-way, permitting, access planning, crossings, and constructability considerations
  • Lead and contribute to constructability reviews and early-stage project planning efforts
  • Provide guidance on project readiness, execution strategy, and long-range planning (12-18+ months ahead of construction)
  • Support coordination between engineering, environmental/permitting, and construction teams to ensure projects are set up for successful delivery
  • Participate in site walkdowns and client discussions to inform planning and decision-making

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:

  • ~15+ years of experience in transmission line construction, construction management, or project management within utilities
  • Strong background in construction execution, with the ability to advise on constructability and field feasibility
  • Proven experience evaluating project risks and developing mitigation strategies for large-scale infrastructure programs
  • Comfortable working in a client-facing, advisory role with remote flexibility and periodic travel

  • Location: Flexible (Dallas/Fort Worth preferred, but not required)
  • Multiple openings due to project demand
