Job Description

  • Design and develop control software for custom automation systems
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control networks
  • Support integration of robotics and automated manufacturing equipment
  • Assist with system startup, commissioning, and on site troubleshooting
  • Diagnose and resolve control system issues in both production and field environments
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineering, electrical, and fabrication teams during builds and installations
  • Maintain organized documentation, version control, and system backups
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability

The Successful Applicant

A successful Controls Engineer should have:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineering
  • Hands on experience with PLC and HMI programming such as Allen Bradley or Siemens platforms
  • Working knowledge of industrial automation systems and electrical troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
  • Exposure to robotic systems, pneumatics, and machine vision technologies is preferred
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet IP, Modbus, or ProfiNet is preferred
