Job Description

  • Design and implement control systems and electrical upgrades for manufacturing equipment
  • Support project management, system design, testing, validation, and implementation
  • Partner cross-functionally with process engineering, maintenance, manufacturing, and quality teams
  • Troubleshoot and improve systems using PLC/HMI programming, sensors, drives, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • Identify and execute automation and process improvement projects
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, validation protocols, and engineering reports
  • Implement process controls and data monitoring systems to improve reliability
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing operations and resolve equipment issues

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field)
  • 1-5+ years of experience in process or controls engineering
  • Experience with PLC programming (Allen Bradley preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems and automation
  • Familiarity with CAD, vision systems, and data collection systems
  • Hands-on, proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
