The Corporate Governance Paralegal will support the legal department in managing corporate governance matters, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining legal documentation. This role is based in New York.

This organization is a global financial technology platform that connects wealth advisors, asset managers, and high-net-worth investors to alternative investments like private equity, hedge funds, and private credit. They have offices in NYC and Greenwich, CT.

Job Description

  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of corporate records, including board resolutions, minutes, and governance documents.
  • Support compliance with regulatory requirements and filing obligations.
  • Coordinate and manage corporate filings, including annual reports and other required submissions.
  • Maintain and organize the legal department's database and documentation systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Conduct legal research to support corporate governance initiatives and projects.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents related to corporate governance.
  • Provide administrative support to the legal department as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Corporate Governance Paralegal should have:

  • Experience with corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong organizational and document management skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal teams.
