About Our Client

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Human Resources to support a rapidly growing manufacturing organization during a critical expansion phase. This role will play a key leadership function in shaping HR strategy, building strong organizational culture, and supporting the launch and scaling of multiple facilities.

The organization recently opened a new manufacturing facility and is preparing to launch an additional site in the coming months. With continued growth and evolving organizational needs, this role will be instrumental in driving HR excellence across multiple locations.

Job Description

  • Serve as a core member of the leadership team, partnering closely with senior leaders to align HR strategy with business objectives
  • Lead and develop a team of 6-7 HR professionals, including HR Managers, HR Generalists, and HR Administrators
  • Support the opening and scaling of new facilities, including workforce planning, onboarding strategies, and culture integration
  • Drive employee relations, including conducting investigations and resolving complex workplace issues
  • Lead performance management processes and career development initiatives across both hourly and professional employee populations
  • Champion change management efforts, ensuring effective communication and adoption during periods of growth and transformation
  • Address and improve organizational culture, particularly in newly established facilities
  • Partner with business leaders to support talent development, succession planning, and organizational design
  • Support ongoing expansion initiatives, including integration across enterprise groups


  • Travel Requirements

  • Approximately 50% travel due to multi-site responsibilities and growth initiatives

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Director should have:

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership in manufacturing or similar environments
  • Ability to WFH 50% and travel 50%
  • Proven experience managing and developing HR teams (minimum 5+ direct/indirect reports)
  • Strong background supporting both hourly workforce populations and professional staff
  • Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, including workplace investigations
  • Experience supporting multi-site or rapidly scaling organizations
  • Strong business acumen and experience partnering with senior leadership teams
  • Skilled in change management, communication, and organizational development
  • Ability to travel extensively and operate effectively in a remote capacity
