This Director of Marketing and Communications will be responsible for building and leading the full marketing and communications function. You will drive brand growth, lead generation, and strategic positioning across US and international markets.

Job Description

Marketing Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute the overall marketing and communications strategy
  • Define short and long-term KPIs aligned to growth and enrolment goals
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and marketing investment decisions
  • Partner with executive leadership on growth strategy



Demand Generation & Performance Marketing

  • Drive lead generation, CPL, and conversion performance
  • Build and optimise digital marketing campaigns (SEO, social, paid media)
  • Implement data-driven decision making across marketing channels
  • Oversee analytics, reporting, and performance tracking



Brand & Positioning

  • Refine and strengthen brand positioning across programmes
  • Increase brand awareness in the U.S. while supporting international markets
  • Oversee messaging, content, and campaign development



Communications & PR

  • Lead public relations strategy and external communications
  • Build relationships with media and key stakeholders
  • Ensure consistent branding across all materials and channels



Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead and develop a distributed marketing team (5-7 direct reports)
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet enrolment targets
  • Support hiring and build out the marketing function as needed
  • Work across departments to drive alignment on growth objectives

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, ideally within health sciences, healthcare, or higher education
  • Proven track record in digital marketing, lead generation, and conversion optimisation
  • Experience leading teams across multiple locations
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce, SEMrush
  • Experience managing integrated campaigns across digital, PR, and traditional channels
  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
  • Exposure to Caribbean, Puerto Rico, or international markets preferred
  • Spanish language skills are advantageous
