As a DOB Superintendent - Construction - Manhattan, you will oversee construction activities in the building and construction industry. You will coordinate daily site activity across the Construction department to help deliver consistent project progress.

Job Description

  • Oversee daily construction site activities and track progress against project plans.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site teams to keep work aligned across active areas.
  • Review site conditions and address issues that affect construction schedules or quality.
  • Maintain clear records of daily work, site activity, and project updates.
  • Monitor jobsite safety practices and promote safe working conditions for all site personnel.
  • Communicate construction status, schedule changes, and site needs with project stakeholders.
  • Inspect completed work and identify items that require follow-up before project milestones.
  • Manage site logistics, including deliveries, access, and coordination of on-site work.

A successful DOB Superintendent - Construction - Manhattan should have:
