Job Description

This Electrical Controls Engineer will be:

  • Designing electrical and controls systems for vacuum furnaces
  • Programming and configuring PLC and HMI systems
  • Creating electrical schematics, layouts, and documentation
  • Analyzing equipment specifications to minimize cost and risk
  • Coordinating with mechanical engineering and manufacturing teams
  • Preparing bills of materials and design modifications
  • Supporting production, testing, and troubleshooting activities
  • Completing as‑built drawings and technical manuals

The Successful Applicant

This Electrical Controls Engineer will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Controles Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • 4+ years of automation and controls experience
  • Strong PLC and HMI programming background
  • Experience with Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms
  • Controls troubleshooting and system commissioning skills
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and standards
