We are seeking Senior Electrical Engineers with experience in either Protection & Control or Substation Physical Design to support a large-scale utility program through the end of the year. The role includes some travel: 4-6 weeks of back-office reviews, followed by about a week in the field at substation sites, repeating for each phase.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed reviews of substation engineering drawings and design packages.
  • Conduct field investigations and site assessments at substations.
  • Document findings and provide engineering support for project teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and field alignment.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in Protection & Control or Substation Physical Design.
  • Ability to review engineering drawings and identify design discrepancies.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.



Travel Requirements:

  • Project work consists of approximately 4-6 weeks of office-based drawing reviews, followed by 1 week of field investigations at substation sites, repeated throughout the program.
  • Travel is required across utility service territories from Northern California to the Los Angeles region.
