Job Description

  • Build and maintain strong carrier relationships
  • Initiate conversations, negotiate terms and establish partnerships with major EB carriers.
  • Own the full employee benefits cycle - quoting, plan comparisons, renewals, and client servicing.
  • Work directly with client HR teams and existing clients to design benefits solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to employee benefits.
  • Provide ongoing education and training to clients about their benefits programs.
  • Help build a structured employee benefits practice.

The Successful Applicant

  • Fluent in Mandarin to support cross-boarder clients (required)
  • 2+ years of U.S. Employee Benefits brokerage experience
  • Active California Life & Health license (required)
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with carriers and develop new partnerships
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Based in Los Angeles
