Employees benefit from strong leadership support, modern facilities, and the opportunity to work on technically challenging equipment that supports critical products used globally.Job DescriptionReporting into the Director of Manufacturing Operations, you will be responsible for the following:Lead and manage the day‑to‑day activities of an equipment engineering and maintenance team across multiple shifts and buildingsEnsure manufacturing and test equipment is maintained to maximize uptime, reliability, and safetyDevelop, implement, and continuously improve preventative maintenance and calibration programsEstablish and maintain department procedures aligned with internal standards and external quality and environmental requirementsDrive Total Productive Maintenance and lean manufacturing initiatives, including Kaizen and 6SOversee equipment installation projects, ensuring delivery to agreed timelines and specificationsManage relationships with external service providers and equipment vendorsMonitor spare parts, tooling, and equipment inventories to ensure availability and cost controlSet departmental objectives and KPIs, track performance, and implement corrective actions where requiredContribute to budgeting, forecasting, purchasing, and cost management activitiesDevelop strategic and tactical resource plans for staffing, skills, and equipment capacityCoach, train, and develop team members, including competency reviews, feedback, and career development planningProvide technical guidance and support for troubleshooting complex or legacy manufacturing and test equipmentMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
