Job Description

  • Lead, coach, and develop the engineering team
  • Provide day‑to‑day technical leadership for operations
  • Drive process optimization for yield and throughput gains
  • Improve cost, quality, and process capability metrics
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Oversee raw material performance and supplier interface
  • Partner with Quality and Supply Chain on material specs
  • Drive continuous improvement using data‑driven methods
  • Lead and support site capital projects and expansions
  • Ensure compliance with EHS and regulatory standards
  • Support process safety and hazard reviews
  • Act as technical liaison across Operations and R&D
  • Support new product introductions and scale‑up
  • Maintain engineering standards and documentation

The Successful Applicant

A successful Engineering Manager should have:

  • BS in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • 8-10 years in chemical or regulated manufacturing
  • 3-5 years leading engineering teams
  • Experience in high‑purity or semiconductor environments
  • Strong process optimization and troubleshooting skills
  • Background in root cause analysis and problem solving
  • Familiar with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Experience with capital projects and equipment upgrades
  • Strong data analysis and decision‑making skills
  • Excellent cross‑functional communication abilities
