Job Description

  • Lead and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team supporting new product introduction, process development, and production activities.
  • Align engineering resources, budgets, and priorities to drive cost reduction, capacity growth, and operational efficiency.
  • Drive improvements in throughput, scrap reduction, cost of goods, quality performance, and safety initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain to support product launches and lifecycle management.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies to improve scalability and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with quality systems, regulatory standards, and environmental, health, and safety requirements.
  • Oversee process validations, equipment qualifications, engineering changes, and technical documentation.
  • Apply lean and data-driven methodologies to enhance manufacturing performance and engineering effectiveness.
  • Lead root cause analysis and support corrective and preventive actions for manufacturing and quality issues.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the engineering organization.

The Successful Applicant

  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering within regulated or high-precision industries.
  • 6+ years of leadership experience managing technical or engineering teams.
  • Strong background in process development, validation, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience working within FDA, ISO, or similarly regulated environments.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational improvements.
  • Experience with manufacturing systems, root cause analysis, and CAPA processes.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and data-driven problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required; advanced degree is a plus.
