Job Description

The Estimator will report into senior preconstruction leadership and play a key role in supporting the full estimating lifecycle across commercial projects.

  • Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for hard bid and negotiated projects
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and scope documents
  • Solicit and manage subcontractor and vendor bids
  • Support bid leveling and scope comparison activities
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings and site walks as needed
  • Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, particularly within the DFW market
  • Collaborate with project management teams to ensure smooth transition from preconstruction to operations

The Successful Applicant

For the Estimator role, we are seeking:

  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating
  • Experience with a full-service general contractor strongly preferred
  • Exposure to hard bid projects (majority of workload)
  • Familiarity with subcontractor market and trade partners in the DFW area is highly desirable
  • K-12 or institutional project experience is a plus, not required
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office tools
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the business
