Job Description

The Estimator will be responsible for:

  • Preparing detailed estimates for large‑scale commercial and multifamily projects
  • Analyzing drawings, specifications and scope to develop accurate budgets
  • Collaborating closely with preconstruction, project management and leadership
  • Supporting negotiated work with trusted, repeat clients (no hard bidding)
  • Participating in value engineering and cost optimisation discussions
  • Assisting with preconstruction planning for projects from $30M-$100M+

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estimator should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
  • 5-7+ years of experience as an Estimator within a GC or builder‑developer
  • Background in commercial construction; multifamily experience strongly preferred
  • Experience estimating projects valued at $30M+
  • Strong understanding of cost modelling, take‑offs and subcontractor pricing
