About Our Client

Our client is a leading global asset manager with a collaborative culture. The events team is large, offering opportunity for exposure across different types of events and internal mobility.

Job Description

  • Manage participation, memberships, and sponsorships across 100+ global industry conferences annually.
  • Oversee 15+ conferences simultaneously, ensuring seamless planning and execution.
  • Act as the primary relationship manager for conference organisers, sponsors, and external vendors.
  • Negotiate sponsorship packages and manage all associated deliverables and deadlines.
  • Coordinate booth activations, signage, branded materials, gifts, transportation, hotel room blocks, and meeting space requirements.
  • Manage speaker and delegate registrations, attendance, and logistics.
  • Partner with Investor Relations, Legal, Compliance, Corporate Communications, Relationship Managers, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Track budgets, process invoices, manage reconciliations, and monitor event spend.
  • Maintain conference calendars, trackers, and reporting documentation.
  • Provide onsite support at select conferences and flagship events globally.

The Successful Applicant

  • 6-8 years' experience in events, sponsorships, project management, or marketing.
  • Financial services, asset management, private equity, or investment industry experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-profile projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong event logistics, vendor management, and sponsorship activation experience.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-focused.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with global stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
