A growing and highly innovative medical device manufacturing organization is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to support a newly built, state-of-the-art production facility. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll play a key part in maintaining and optimizing facility systems, utilities, and cleanroom environments while supporting ongoing construction and commissioning activities.

Job Description

  • Maintain and troubleshoot facility systems including HVAC, electrical, and utilities
  • Support equipment installation, commissioning, and qualification activities
  • Manage preventive maintenance programs using CMMS
  • Maintain GMP-compliant documentation and maintenance records
  • Coordinate contractors and vendors on site
  • Support cleanroom operations and environmental monitoring (ISO 5-8)
  • Drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis

The Successful Applicant

  • 3-6 years of facilities or maintenance engineering experience
  • Strong CMMS experience
  • Experience in regulated environments (medical device, pharma, biotech)
  • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering and electrical drawings
  • Engineering degree preferred
  • Hazardous waste handling experience preferred
  • Spanish language skills preferred
