Job Description

  • Design and develop user-friendly, responsive front-end interfaces for web applications.
  • Collaborate closely with backend developers, designers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration.
  • Translate design mockups and wireframes into high-quality code using modern technologies.
  • Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and provide feedback to designers.
  • Maintain and improve the existing codebase, ensuring code quality and best practices.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Front End Engineer should have:

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with expertise in frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience working with APIs and integrating front-end code with back-end services.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
  • A keen eye for design and attention to detail to create polished user interfaces.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.



  • Frontend: Next.js (App Router), React, TypeScript, Tailwind, shadcn/ui
  • Testing: Playwright
  • Observability: Datadog
  • Backend context: Ruby on Rails and Node.js on AWS, with Postgres and MongoDB
