They specialize in delivering high-quality ground-up residential developments and are committed to fostering a collaborative environment where employees can grow professionally while contributing to impactful projects.Job DescriptionAssist Project Managers with the day-to-day management of ground-up construction projects.Support the bid buyout process, including subcontractor and vendor procurement.Coordinate permitting efforts and maintain relationships with local municipalities and regulatory agencies.Manage and track Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and project documentation.Assist with project scheduling updates and progress reporting.Support client onboarding and ensure a smooth transition from project award through project execution.Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, change orders, meeting minutes, and correspondence.Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and ownership groups.Monitor project costs, commitments, and budget tracking.Utilize Procore and other project management software to manage project workflows and documentation.Participate in project meetings and provide follow-up on action items and outstanding issues.Help ensure projects are completed in accordance with quality, safety, and schedule expectations.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantA successful Ground Up Assistant Project Manager should have:2+ years of construction management experience with a General Contractor or Construction Management firm.Experience assisting with ground-up construction projects required.Experience on multifamily projects, particularly developments consisting of 90-100 residential units, is highly preferred.Familiarity with bid buyout processes, permitting, RFIs, submittals, and change order management.Proficiency with Procore is strongly preferred.Comfortable learning and utilizing project management and construction software platforms.Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, but equivalent construction experience will be considered.Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented professional.What's on OfferCompetitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000, based on experience.Opportunity to work on large-scale, ground-up multifamily developments.Career advancement with an established and growing construction firm.Exposure to all phases of the construction lifecycle and direct mentorship from senior project leadership.Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.Paid time off and company holidays.Supportive team culture focused on collaboration, professional development, and long-term success.Interested?
