We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead healthcare construction projects throughout the Detroit metro area. This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with healthcare regulations and client standards.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through completion
  • Coordinate closely with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and inspectors
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, contract administration, and change management
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and infection control requirements (ICRA)
  • Conduct regular jobsite meetings and provide clear project reporting
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining quality and schedule
  • Lead project closeout, commissioning, and handover documentation

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
  • Healthcare construction experience required (hospitals, medical offices, labs, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, cost control, And ICRA
  • Experience working in occupied healthcare environments preferred
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex project requirements
  • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.)
