Job Description

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent.
  • Manage and enhance onboarding programs to ensure successful employee integration and retention.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify workforce needs and develop recruiting strategies.



Employee Relations & Culture

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employee relations matters.
  • Address employee concerns, workplace issues, and conflict resolution professionally and confidentially.
  • Develop and implement initiatives that promote employee engagement, morale, and retention.
  • Support leadership in maintaining a positive, productive, and collaborative work environment.



Performance Management & Development

  • Administer the annual performance review process and provide guidance to managers on employee evaluations.
  • Identify training and development opportunities to support employee growth and career advancement.
  • Partner with department leaders to develop succession planning and talent development strategies.



Compliance, Compensation & Benefits

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, PTO administration, and other company-sponsored benefits.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook documentation.
  • Monitor HR metrics and recommend process improvements to support organizational objectives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably as an HR Manager or senior HR Generalist.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations.
  • Experience administering benefits programs and supporting performance management processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP is preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll, and related HR software platforms is a plus.



Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting employees in a construction, manufacturing, industrial, or field-based environment.
  • Familiarity with workforce planning, safety-focused cultures, and multi-site operations.
  • Ability to partner with leadership teams to drive employee engagement and organizational growth.
