Job Description

  • Advise clients on intellectual property transactions involving technology and branding matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to intellectual property, including licensing and collaboration deals.
  • Conduct due diligence on intellectual property assets in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex intellectual property issues.
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients on protecting and commercializing their intellectual property portfolios.
  • Stay informed on evolving laws and regulations related to technology and branding.
  • Support litigation teams in disputes involving intellectual property rights, when necessary.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure superior service delivery.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admittance to the California State Bar or eligibility for admission.
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property law, particularly in the technology and branding sectors.
  • Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse client teams.
