Job Description

  • Perform ongoing financial analysis across products, business lines, and business units
  • Monitor P&L and balance sheet variances, providing insights and recommendations
  • Build financial models to support leadership decision-making
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve financial issues
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual budget vs. actual reporting
  • Prepare internal reporting materials, schedules, and exhibits
  • Track and analyze key financial and operational metrics
  • Support strategic initiatives through financial analysis
  • Review and analyze supplier/vendor expenses
  • Assist with headcount and compensation planning and tracking
  • Deliver ad hoc reporting, special projects, and follow-up analysis

The Successful Applicant

  • 1-2 years of experience in finance (FP&A, accounting, or financial analysis)
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, modelling, formulas, data consolidation)
  • Experience with financial systems (Workday Adaptive preferred)
  • Exposure to insurance industry (preferred but not required)
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to partner effectively with business stakeholders
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and process improvement driven
