Job Description



Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing residential construction projects from planning and budgeting through closeout
  • Support preconstruction activities, including scheduling, budgeting, bidding, and subcontractor coordination
  • Participate in meetings with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to address constructability, sequencing, and quality considerations
  • Help track project schedules, costs, and material procurement to ensure projects stay on track
  • Coordinate and document project communications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Conduct site walks and assist with quality control inspections to ensure adherence to plans and specifications
  • Maintain organized project documentation and report progress, risks, and issues to senior project leadership
  • Support client communication by helping ensure expectations are clearly understood and met throughout the project lifecycle
  • Uphold safety standards and assist with incident reporting and jobsite compliance

The Successful Applicant



The Successful Candidate

  • 2-5 years of experience in residential construction, project engineering, assistant project management, or a similar role
  • Exposure to custom homes, high-end residential, or renovation projects preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Clear communicator with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable using construction management software and technology tools
  • Willing and able to travel to job sites throughout the Central New Jersey area
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work in an active jobsite environment
