Our team is committed to delivering reliable, innovative, and cost-effective solutions that strengthen the electrical grid and power critical infrastructure.Job DescriptionLead technical execution of substation projects, including physical design, protection & control systems, and commissioning support.Serve as the primary technical authority on assigned projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, utility requirements, and internal engineering practices.Oversee and review engineering deliverables such as calculations, one-line diagrams, protection schemes, and construction drawings.Provide direction and mentorship to project engineers and design staff, supporting technical development and workload coordination.Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to define scope, resolve technical issues, and maintain project alignment.Lead design reviews and ensure quality control across all project documentation and deliverables.Support field activities including site visits, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning as required.Contribute to project planning, risk assessments, and technical proposal development.Ensure adherence to safety standards and promote a strong safety culture across all project phases.Identify and implement engineering best practices and process improvements.Utilize engineering software and Microsoft Office tools for analysis, documentation, and reporting.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
